Edna Fay Arnhart, 81, of Paducah died at 9:24 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at Western Baptist Hospital.
Born in Tamms, Ill., Mrs. Arnhart retired as a housekeeper from the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was also a member of the Wice Baptist Church.
Mrs. Arnhart is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Sheffer and Sharon Bryant, both of Paducah; one son, Leonard Allen "Buddy" Arnhart of Tamms; one brother, Don McRaven of Reynoldsville, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Deeb Allen Ghannoum, Michael "Pat" Sheffer, Misty Anderson, Sunney Hinman, Stephanie Arnhart, Samantha Arnhart, Beené Jesse Arnhart and Savannah Arnhart. Mrs. Arnhart is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Arnhart was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Wayne Arnhart, and one daughter, Pamela Kaye Arnhart. She was also preceded by one sister, Oma Calvert, and three brothers, Homer McRaven, Henry McRaven and Carl Edward McRaven. Her parents were Curtis C. and Refa Groves McRaven.
Funeral services for Mrs. Arnhart will be at 11 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2008, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. The Rev. Michael Suiter and the Rev. Roy Parks will officiate. Burial will follow at the Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, October 30, 2008, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah
