Paducah - Rebecca Ann Harrison, 78, of Paducah died at 7:34 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Becky was born on September 28, 1939, the oldest child of Richard and Ann Hancock. She grew up in the Reidlan area. Along with her sister, she spend a good part of her youth keeping her four mischievous brothers on the straight and narrow. In 1957, she married her high school sweethear, Charles Harrison. she and Charles lived life to the fullest and had a lifetime of adventures and even a few misadventures. Together, they owned and operated Paducah International Raceway for over 10 years. She later began a new career as a sales representative for Mechanics Choice which lasted almost 20 years. A hard worker her whole life, Becky loved yard work and gardening, and always strived for a well-manicured lawn and a clean house. She also loved the beach and the annual family vacation to Destin, FL> Becky enjoyed living on Kentucky Lake and being host to family and friends. She was a member of Reidland Baptist Church.
Suviving are her daughters Amy St. Blanc and her husband Randy, of Madisonville, Louisiana, Alyson Kelly and her husband David, of Paducah; one sister, Linda Lindsey, of Paducah; four brothers, Jim Hancock, of Arkansas, Joe Hancock, of Tupelo, Mississippi, John Hancock, of Paducah, and Jerry Hancock, of Paducah; three grandchildren, Justin St. Blanc, of Marrero, Louisiana, Harrison Kelly and Jackson Kelly, both of Paducah.
Becky was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles R. Harrison; her parents, Anna Mae Hancock and James Richard Hancock.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with Bill Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
