Betty Davis Anderson, 70, of Paducah, Ky., passed away at 3:10 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2009, at her residence.
She was born in Paducah. Betty was a retired Legal Assistant and a member of the Ohio Valley Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Stevenson of Paducah; two sisters, Jo Ann Peck of Paducah and Barbara Vandevelde of New Jersey; one brother, William Davis of Granite City, Ill.; two grandchildren, Brandi Tolbert of Paducah and James Villanueva of San Diego, Calif.; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Clifton Davis and Versie Lee Stokes Davis; one granddaughter, Crystal D. Runge; one sister, Billie Jean Bland; and a brother, Charles Davis.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2009, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Terry Mitcheson officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
