Graveside memorial services for Betty Elizabeth Battoe Wilkins, 67, of Paducah, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Pastor David Kelly will officiate.
Mrs. Wilkins died Thursday, October 2, 2008, at her daughter's home in Paducah.
She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Sandy (Todd) Caneer of Gilbertsville and Marcia (Pete) Thomasson of Paducah; two sons, Gene (Sandra) Thomas of Mena, Ark., and Randy Thomas of Paducah; three sisters, Margaret A. Turner and Linda S. Steger, both of West Paducah, and Mary E. Lambert of Boaz; one brother, Don E. Battoe of Paducah; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Norman Wilkins; her daughter, Sherry Yvonne Thomas; parents, James F. and Martha E. Hyde Battoe; and two brothers, James F. Battoe Jr. and Michael Glen Battoe.
At the graveside services, her daughter, Sherry Thomas, will be inurned beside her. She died December 23, 1992.
Visitation will be held this evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
