Billy Tabers

Billy Joe Tabers, 62, of Ledbetter died Thursday at his home.
Mr. Tabers was a member of the American Legion and a decorated U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
Surviving are one son, Tim Tabers of Ledbetter; two daughters, Thonya Durard of Barlow and Laura Tabers of Paducah; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, E.J. and Lorene Tabers.
Graveside services will be at noon Monday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Talley officiating. Smith Funeral Chapel of Smithland is in charge of arrangements.
