Birdie Bell

Birdie Lucille Mitchell Bell, 93, of Paducah died at 2 p.m. Thursday at Medco Center of Paducah.
Mrs. Bell was a member of Oakalone Christian Church. She was a former custodian at Olivet Baptist Church and a housekeeper for private residences.
She is survived by four sons, James E. Bell and Billy Joe Bell, both of West Paducah, and Wilbert G. Bell and Paul Bell Jr., both of Paducah; one sister, Girtie Fuqua of Paducah; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Bell; her parents, Barron Mitchell and Pearline Frazier Mitchell; two sons, Ellis Bell and Clarence Bell Jr.; one daughter; three sisters; and three brothers.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church, with the Revs. James L. Hudson and Benny Heady presiding. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at the church.
