BOAZ, Ky. - Services for Boyd E. Futrell, 81, of Boaz will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Revs. Larry Smith and Eric Gibbs officiating. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. Futrell died at 3:40 a.m. Saturday at Delta Missouri Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
Mr. Futrell was a native of Graves County, a member of Freemont Baptist Church, a retired electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 816.
Surviving are his wife, Edna Adams Futrell; three daughters, Janice Fondaw, Linda Beyer and Candy Futrell, all of Boaz; two sons, Randy Futrell and Roger Futrell, both of Boaz; three brothers, George "Cecil" Futrell of Lone Oak, Lemon "Buck" Futrell of Calvert City and William Edward Futrell of California; five sisters, Alice Cavanaugh of Melber, Dorothy Jean Nall, Kay Stephens and Elsie Cathy, all of Lone Oak and Amanda Ming of Paducah; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Louise Futrell, and several brothers and sisters. His parents were William Lemon Futrell and Ola Pearl Mofield.
Friends may visit with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
