Brenda Boyd

Brenda Faye Boyd, age 73, of Nashville, TN, formerly of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at West Meade Place in Nashville, TN.

She was a member of the Body of Christ Christian Center in Detroit, MI, a 1966 graduate of Heath High School, and was formerly employed as a cashier supervisor at Handy Andy retail center in Detroit.

She is survived by two sons, Lester (Stacey) B. Boyd IV of Hendersonville, TN and Jermaine (Monica) Boyd, Sr. of Goodlettsville, TN; one daughter, LaToya Boyd of Madison, TN; six grandchildren, Shaniya Boyd, Ayana Boyd, Breonna Boyd, Jermaine Boyd, Jr., Peyton Boyd, and Cameron Boyd; two brothers, Rev. Benny (Ida) Heady of West Paducah and Phillip Heady of Paducah; her loving stepfather, Owen D. Heady of Paducah; two uncles, Louis Titsworth of Paducah, Otis Titsworth of West Paducah; three nieces, Tawonna (Byron) Powell and Malika (Michael) Womack, both of Clarksville, Tn, Angie Heady of Paducah; two nephews, Wesley Brooks of Marion, TN, Benny (Verlina) Heady, Jr. of Clarksville, TN, and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Lester B. Boyd III; her parents, John Rhea and Ruth Titsworth Heady, and one sister, Gayle Waldon.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, December 11, 2021, 12:00 p.m., at the Oakalone Christian Church, 5930 Noble Road in West Paducah, KY and her brother, Reverend Benny Heady, will officiate.  Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

All attendees must wear a mask.
