Carolyn Berry Spicer, age 70, of Paducah passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Carolyn was born on December 26, 1948 in Paducah to the late Albert Lee and Allie Dean “Babber” Barker Lichtenberg. She retired from the Ballard County School System after teaching for 33 years. Carolyn was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Ballard County Retired Teachers and Kentucky Retired Teachers.
She is survived by her daughter, Angie Woods and husband, Steven of West Paducah; her son, Brant Berry and wife, Rachael of Lexington; one brother, Joseph “Joey” Lee Lichtenberg and wife, Connie of Louisville; four grandchildren, Brooke Berry Holloway and husband, Spencer, Connor Brandon Woods, Brinson Ace Berry and Allee O’Shea Woods; and one great-grandson, Dean Spencer Holloway.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Judy Lichtenberg; and one brother, Albert Lee Lichtenberg, Jr.
A funeral service for Carolyn will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Joe Beal officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
