Charlene Proffer, 94, of Paducah died Sunday, February 23, 2014, at her home.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Proffer of Paducah; one sister, Loueva Ballou of Brookport, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother. Her parents were Charlie and Dessie Mae Morris.
Services will be at noon Friday, February 28, 2014, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Hutch Hutcheson officiating. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at the funeral home.
