Charles Farris "Junior" Clark, 75, of Paducah died Saturday at his residence.
He was born July 1, 1936, in Ballard County to the late Farris and Mary Hobbs Clark. Charles was a member of "The Singing Clark Family". He had worked at Claussner Hosiery Mill and retired as a boilermaker from Illinois Central Railroad. An avid CB radio enthusiast, Charles was known by "Strawberry" amongst his friends. He also was an usher and security member for Southland Baptist Temple.
Surviving is his wife, Eva Mae Vaughan Clark; three children, Patricia Ann Woodford of Paducah, Charles Junior Clark of Metropolis, and Denise Gail Burress of Paducah; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jerry Clark of Paducah and Gayland Clark of Ledbetter.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Myra Myrick Clark; a sister, Brenda Dunnagan; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Harold Council officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5-8 p.m.
Pallbearers are Ray Riley, Bill Powers, Brad Clark, Joe Clark, Shermen Henderson, and Adam Breidenbach. Honorary Pallbearers are Lelon Vaughan and James Edward Vaughan.
