Services for Charles M. Taylor, 68, of Paducah will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. The Revs. Harold Council, Jimmy Franks and Topper Council will officiate. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor died at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday at Western Baptist Hospital.
A native of Union County, he retired from the maintenance department at Air Products and was a member of Oil Chemical & Atomic Workers International Union Local No. 3-727. Mr. Taylor was a member of Southland Baptist Temple.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Anna Sue Heflin Taylor; one son, Joseph Wayne Taylor of Louisville; one brother, Donald Taylor Jr. of Ratoul, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Amandi Richel Taylor of Clarksville, Ind., and Dustin James Taylor of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. His parents were Donald Taylor Sr. and Vera Etta Heffington Taylor Davis.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
