Charles Elzie Watson Jr., 78, of Paducah died at 8:08 p.m. Thursday at his home.
He was a retired roofer and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Cope Watson; one daughter, Leisa Harris; one son, David Watson, all of Paducah; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother. His parents were Elzie Charles and Mary Jane McDonald Watson.
Graveside services with military rites will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Hatcher officiating.
Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
