Charles "Chuck" Watkins

Charles P. ‘Chuck’ Watkins, 91, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 8:40 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019 at his residence.

Chuck was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church. He was a retired General Foreman from Allied Signal in Metropolis, Illinois and a U.S. Army Air Corps Staff Sergeant Veteran.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbra Gamblin Watkins; a daughter, Carrole Anne Vaught and husband Bill of Kernersville, North Carolina; a son, Fred Alan Watkins of Paducah, Kentucky; four grandchildren, John Vaught, Peter Vaught (Brandy), Haley Watkins, Mika Fraley (Cody); five great grandchildren, Rachael Head (Austin), Brittany Vaught, Will Vaught, Alora Rodgers, Everleigh Fraley; one great-great granddaughter, Aubrey Head.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Watkins; a brother, Fallis Watkins Jr. His Father, Fallis B. Watkins, his mother, Icedore VanPelt Watkins, and his step mother, Lillian Watkins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Dan Summerlin and Dr. Jeff Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the funeral home.
