Clifton Franklin "Frankie" Buchanan, 71, of Paducah died Friday, March 21, 2014 at Paducah Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Clifton was born in Paducah on November 28, 1042, to the late Clifton Bazil Buchanan and Norma Ruth Crass Buchanan. He was a graduate of Murray State University and retired as a lab analyst from United States Enrichment Corporation. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #127 and was a 3rd Degree Mason. He also was a member of Heartland Worship Center. An avid hunter, Clifton was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Sharron Roberta Buchanan; two sons, Gary L. Buchanan of Paducah and Keith F. Buchanan and wife Jacque of Paso Robles, California; three grandchildren, Melody Buchanan of Bowling Green, Ky., Hunter F. Buchanan and Chase T. Buchanan, both of Paso Robles, California; a brother, John Buchanan and wife Belinda of Paducah; and several nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Mickey Brown officiating. Visitation will be held from 11: a.m. - 1: 00 p.m. Monday at Milner & Orr Funeral HOme of Paducah.
