Obituary for Danny Gerald Rose
Danny Gerald Rose, 70, of Paducah went to be with the Lord at 6:03 AM on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Baptist Health of Paducah.
Mr. Rose was a retired painter for USEC, a member of Heartland Church, Faith Riders Sunday School, 30 years with Agape Prison Ministry Class.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janice (Bryant) Rose of Paducah; one son, David Rose and wife Chantelle of Lexington; one daughter, Paula (Rose) Bailey and husband Boyd of Crossville,TN; one brother, Ronnie Rose and wife Nancy of Johns Creek, GA; six grandchildren; Bryant, Jonathan and Timothy Bailey, Olivia, Mallory and Cybill Rose; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra Rose Jr. and Geraldine (Smith) Rose; one sister, Julia Rose.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Heartland Church in Paducah with Rev. Nathan Joyce and Chuck Jordan officiating. Entombment will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Heartland Church. A second visitation will be held from 11:00 AM till service time on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Church Children's Building, 4777 Alben Barkley Drive, Paducah, KY 42001or American Cancer Society, 3140 Parisa Drive, Paducah, KY 42003.
