Delphia Orr Stanfill, 92, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 7:50 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2017 at
Baptist Health Paducah. She was born in the Land Between the Lakes in Lyon County, Kentucky. She
attended Pisgah United Methodist Church before she moved to Paducah from the Land Between the
Lakes. Delphia was a avid gardener and enjoyed working outside. She enjoyed mowing and yard work.
She loved and rescued animals and donated a lot of her time and supplies to the Humane Society.
Delphia was a loving caregiver to her family especially to her brothers and sisters and anyone else that
she could help. She loved her nieces and nephews very much and thought of them as her own children.
Delphia is survived by a step-son, Ron Stanfill and several beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. Paul Davis; 2nd husband, Grover L. Stanfill; sisters,
Elsie Fulks, Erma Fox, Margie Mitchusson and infant sister, Rose Orr; brothers, Calvin Orr, Kenneth Orr
and Noble Orr. Her parents were Barney Orr and Grace Smith Orr.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and
Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Mark Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in the
Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the funeral home.
