Dorothy Hite, 81, of West Paducah passed away at 1:52 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2008, at Lourdes hospital.
She was a member of Twelve Oaks Baptist Church and a former employee of M. Fine and Son Shirt Company and Clausner's Hoisery Mill.
Mrs. Hite is survived by one son, Charlie Hite and wife Lori Greif Hite of Kevil; one sister, Mary Merrell of DesArc, Ark.; one granddaughter, Kinsey Hite; one nephew, Bobby Merrell and wife Peggy of DesArc; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randol Hite. Her parents were Jack and Florence Timmons.
Graveside services will be at Noon Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Louis Brinker officiating.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at Lindsey Funeral Home.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to American Heart Association, 240 Whittington Parkway, Louisville, KY 40202.
