Mrs. Dorris Ruth "Mombabe" Knick, age 75 of Fancy Farm, KY died on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah KY. Born Saturday, June 28, 1941 in Memphis, TN, she was a homemaker and a member of the Potter's House Baptist Worship Center.
Mrs. Knick is survived by her husband, Wilbur "Roy" Knick of Grand Rivers, KY, sons, Robert Mathis of Fancy Farm, KY, Donald Morre of GRand Rivers, KY, Davide E. Morre of Bellville, IL and John Moore of Hardin , KY, daughters,Debra Blaisdell of Grand Rivers, KY, Mary Ward of Fenton, MO, Amanda Morore of Benton, KY and Brianna Moore of Hardin, KY; 3 grandchildre; 14 great grandchildren, and a dog Chi-Chi.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturdya, July 9, 2016 at Maplelawn Cemetery, in Paducah KY with Dr. Brad Henson officiating. Inurnment will follow.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th Street Benton KY 42025.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the American Cancer Society c/o Brenda McClaran, 510 WEst 9th St., Benton KY 42025.0
