Dwain H. Lowry, Sr., 94, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky formerly of Paducah, Kentucky passed away
Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Willows of Harroldsburg. He was a native of Paducah,
Kentucky. Dwain was an attorney in Paducah for over 50 years. At the time of his retirement he
was a partner with Washburn, Key and Lowry Law Firm. Dwain attended Paducah Junior College,
College of Charleston and received his law degree from the University of Kentucky. He was a
member of Fountain Avenue United Methodist Church, the Benevolent Order of Elks and the
American Legion. Dwain served his country during World War II as a pilot in the Army/Air Corp
flying with the European Theatre. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards.
Dwain is survived by his daughter, Linda Huston and husband Bill of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; 5
grandchildren, Patrick Green, Benjamin Green and wife Amy, Katelyn Green, Patrick Huston and
wife Sarah and Suzanne Huston; 5 great grandchildren, Rhythm Green, Aidan Huston, Hannah
Huston, Jackson Green and Sadie Green; niece, Sheila Walker and husband Sherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Leveridge Lowry; son, Dwain H. Lowry, Jr.; brother,
Robert Lowry. His parents were Robert V. Lowry and Rebecca McFarland Lowry.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral
Home of Paducah with Rev. Sara Tate and Rev. Gregory Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow in
the Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of
Paducah.
