Edwin Myre

Edwin Myre, 90, of Paducah died Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Myre was a member of Internation Union of Operating Engineers local 181 for more than 50 years and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Marie Friant Myre; one son, Eddie P. Myre of Edgewater, Fla.; one daughter, Gloria Howie of Greenville, Ind.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, James Myre and Donnie Myre.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Willie Mae Myre, and four brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Roth Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Topper Council will officiate. Interment will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
