Eunice Rickman

Eunice Powers Rickman, 94, of Paducah died at 4:55 p.m. Thursday at Western Baptist Hospital.

Mrs. Rickman was a native of Paducah. She worked as the manager of Minnens Ladies Clothing Store. She was a member of West End Baptist Church. She worked in the Western Baptist Hospital Auxiliary for 20 years and served as a Paducah Ambassador. She was a Paducah Lioness and held several offices for the Jackson House Association. She belonged to the Red Hat Society and worked the voting polls.

Surviving are one son, James Rickman of Paducah; one sister, Edith Jones of Georgia; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Carter Rickman; one son, William Rickman; one daughter, Susan Lynn Rickman Wallace; and three brothers. Her parents were Edward Carlton Powers and Lottie Eunice Wright Powers.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
