Fadetta Montgomery

BOAZ, Ky. - Fadetta D. Montgomery, 82, of Boaz passed away at 11:26 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010, at her residence.
Fadetta was a faithful member of Arcadia United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer for Lourdes Hospital Auxiliary, American Red Cross and R.S.V.P.
She is survived by her daughters, Gayle W. Burt of Paducah, Ky. and Ruth M. Roberts and husband Barry of Benton; one son, Bradley Montgomery and wife Nancy of Boaz; sisters, Mary Haynes, Delpha Fackler, Artie Haynes, Jo Claycomb and Phyllis Wehrenburg; brother, Carlton Decker; grandchildren, Eric Roberts, Beth Vinson, Kate Roberts, Kristi Wilkinson, Tara Martin, Chris Presswood and Becky Riley; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Montgomery; daughter, Glenda Sue Montgomery; two sisters; and two brothers. Her parents were Frank and Cova Wilson Decker.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Arcadia United Methodist Church with Dr. Paul Mullikin officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be today, April 19, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah and after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Arcadia United Methodist Church.
