Frances M. Dotson, 79, of Paducah passed away at 7 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
She was a member of Heartland Worship Center.
She is survived by one son, James "Doc" Dotson and wife Sue of West Paducah; one granddaughter, Melissa Ann "Miss." Dotson of Paducah; three grandsons, Todd Dotson and wife Amy of Boaz, Jason Dotson and wife Angie of Murray, and Cory Dotson of Paducah; three great-grandchildren, McKayla Dotson and Brenna Dotson of Boaz and Emma Grace Dotson of Murray; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Dotson Jr.; one son, Billy Gene Dotson; and one brother, Buddy Hogan. Her parents were James S. Hogan and Selelia Grief.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2008, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Revs. Johnny Sams and Mickie Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, November 14, 2008, at Lindsey Funeral Home.
