F. Joe Keeling, age 68, of Paducah passed away at 11:04 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at the Western Baptist Hospital ER.
Mr. Keeling was a native of Paducah. He was the owner of Keeling Raceway and was most recently the owner and operator of Big Top Bears. He also worked as a general contractor. Mr. Keeling was a Mason of Lodge No. 449 F&AM and was a member of Bethel Holiness Church. He served as past chairman of the Franklin School Reunion Committee. He was retired from the Paducah Fire Department. He also served as a commissioner for the city of Paducah.
Surviving are his wife, Kaye Deem Keeling; two daughters, Renonda Orenduff and husband, Michael, of Lone Oak and Melissa Davis and husband, David, of Reidland; two brothers, W.D. Keeling Jr. of Paducah and David Keeling of North Carolina; two sisters, Joyce Storey and Sharon Stone, both of Paducah; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.D. Keeling Sr. and Erma Rhea Looper Keeling; one brother; and four sisters.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at Keeling Family Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 5 to 9 p.m.
