Garry W. Ligon, 65, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 1:00 am on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
For over 20 years Garry was an over the road truck driver. He was a member of Paducah Masonic Lodge #127 F&AM. Gary also enjoyed Nascar, stock car racing, and his dog, Pepper.
He is survived by his brother, Ronnie Ligon and wife Susan of Paducah, KY; three sisters, Diane Ransom and Joe Pat McCallon of Paducah, KY, Teresa Harper and husband David of Paducah, KY, Patty White of Paducah, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Troy Ligon; and one nephew, Benjamin Ligon. His parents were James W. "Buddy" Ligon, Jr. and Betty Lou Miller Ligon.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Larry Rudesill officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Milner & Funeral Home of Paducah, with Mason Rites beginning at 7:00 pm.
