G.C. Carneal

Funeral services for G.C. Carneal, 87, of Paducah will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Todd Brady officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. Carneal died at 7:59 a.m. Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital.
He retired as a BellSouth technician. He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. He was a member of Paducah First Baptist Church and its TV and Audio Crew and a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers and Western Baptist Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are one sister, Christine Hall of West Paducah, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Luigs Carneal; two sisters; and three brothers. His parents were Grover and Nettie Tucker Carneal.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to First Baptist Church, 2890 Broadway, Paducah, KY 42001.
