Gene Buchana, 88, of Lone Oak passed away Saturday evening at Parkview Nursing Rehab of Paducah KY.
He was retired railroad worker for Illinois Central railroad; one son, Ricky Lee Buchanan of Mephis TN; one daughter, Kathy Jean Staggs of Boca Raton, FL; one brother, Ben Buchana of Paducah; one sister, Ann Rayl of Paducah; one grandchild, Taylor Buchanan, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie and Lillis Elliott Buchanan; one son, Randy Dean Buchanan; and five brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 to 1 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 1 pm on Tuesday following visitation with Pastor Bob Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Maplealwn Park Cemetery. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
