Obituary for Gina Fraser
Gina Fraser, age 57, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018.
Gina was a vibrant, intelligent, fit, adventurous, creative woman who had a passion for gardening and antiquing with her family. She grew up on the lake and was an excellent slalom skier. Gina had the unique ability to make everyone around her feel important and special through her selfless attitude and her listening ear. She was an amazing Mama Bear to her two daughters and was a fierce protector of their health and happiness. If Gina were a Race Horse, you would definitely want to bet on her! She was a fun-loving, hilarious social butterfly. She loved spending time with her friends and hosted their monthly Stampin' Up Club meeting. Gina constantly looked for ways to give back to her community, by reading to school children, volunteering with the church, and by just being a good friend and confidant who was quick to listen to the needs of everyone she met. She loved dancing and used her passion to raise money for the American Cancer Society's Dancing with Our Stars. Gina worked at Lourdes Hospital for 23 years as a surgical tech before she was hired as an Endoscopic Specialist with Karl Storz, and her presence in the OR will most definitely be missed. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and was a woman of deep faith and conviction. Gina was an inspiration as she fought with extreme grace and honorable dignity that was admired deeply by all those who knew her.
Gina is survived by her husband of 18 years, David Fraser; her two daughters, Katherine Rorer and wife, Chelsea of Valdosta, Ga and Carly Rorer of Key West, Fl; her sister, Karen Oldham and husband, Wayne of Princeton, KY; three brothers, Michael Levin of Tampa, Fl, Eddie Levin and wife, Martha of Westville, IL, and Bobby Levin of Draffenville, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Catherine Mueller Levin.
