Gloria Mayo

Gloria J. Mayo, 64, of West Paducah passed away at 11:18 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Lourdes hospital.
Mrs. Mayo was a native of Paducah. She was a retired respiratory therapist and had worked for both Lourdes hospital and Western Baptist Hospital. She was a member of Rosebower Baptist Church.
Surviving are her mother, Alma Sweatt Burns of Benton; her husband, Richard Mayo; one son, Tim and wife Linda Flynn of West Paducah; one brother, Bill Burns of Sharpe; one sister, Barbara Wurth of Paducah; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Burns, and an infant son, Robert William Flynn.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Puckett officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 5 until 8 p.m. today, April 24, 2009, at Keeling Family Funeral Home.
