Mary E. Harris, age 82, of Paducah passed away Dec. 24, 2007, at 4:13 a.m. from the Medco Center of Paducah.
Mrs. Harris was a native of Metropolis, Ill., and was a member of the Concord United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her two sons, David Harris and wife, Martha, and Doug Harris and wife, Grace, both of Paducah; one sister-in-law, Helen Steele; five grandchildren, Eric Harris, Bart Harris, and Elizabeth Werner, all of Paducah, Ellen Harris of Florida and Warren Harris of Tennessee; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Harris; five brothers; and one sister. Her parents were John Henry Steele and Josephine Lynn Steele.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at 10 a.m. at the Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Keeling Family Funeral Home.
