Services for Helen Herald, 78, of Paducah will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Roth Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Carl Cooper officiating. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Herald died at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Medco Center of Paducah.
She was of the Baptist faith and worked 22 years at Moline Public Hospital. Mrs. Herald enjoyed playing cards and truly loved being a grandmother.
Surviving are one daughter, Linda Weber (John) of Milan, Ill.; one brother, Roy M. Hall of Paducah; two sisters, Jean Hall and Anna Lanham, both of Paducah; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Carl Herald; one son, Billy Joe Herald; two sisters; one grandson; and one great-grandchild. Her parents were Claude Hall and Ruby Quertermous Hall.
