Helen O'Daniel

Helen Carolyn Cummins O'Daniel, 76, of Paducah went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 10:13 p.m. Friday from Western Baptist Hospital.

Mrs. O'Daniel was born in Clinton, Ill., on January 1, 1934 to the late Charles and Myrtle Marie Weikle Alexander. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Paducah and was a very active member of T.O.P.S. No. 212, Clara Hendricks Chapter No. 424 Order of the Eastern Star and the Concord Homemakers.

She leaves behind her loving family, two daughters, Pam Ferren and husband Larry of Kevil, Ky., and Judy Warmath and husband Randy of Paducah; one son, James Walden O'Daniel Jr. and wife Cindy of Paducah; two sisters, Ruth Barrett of Paducah and Donna LaRocco of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, Harold Cummins of Haywood, Wisconsin and Bill Cummins of Marion, Ky.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Walden O'Daniel Sr.; two daughters, twins, Linda and Glenda O'Daniel; two brothers; and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 8, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 10:00 a.m. till funeral hour Monday at the funeral home.
