Services for Mr. Howard "Gene" Robins, 80, of St. Cloud, Fla., formerly of Paducah will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at Lindsey Funeral Home. Mr. Harold Wood will officiate. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. Robins passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at St. Cloud Regional Medical Center in St. Cloud, Florida.
He was a retired Iron worker and a member of Iron Workers Local No. 782, co-manager of Fernwood Apartments and a member of the Clements Street Church of Christ.
He is survived by three children, Dennis D. and wife Nancy Robins of Paducah, Nina and husband Thomas Leitch of St. Cloud, Fla., and Charles R. and wife Sandy Robins of Eddyville; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gertrude Browning Robins and his second wife, Pauline Shockney-Robins.
