Huel Leaver, 91, of Paducah died Monday morning, September 3, 2018, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation of Paducah.
He was a 29 year retired chemical operator for Pennwalt to Calvert City. He was also a World War II Army veteran, and a member of Schneidman Road Baptist Church of Paducah.
He is survived by three children, Sharon Hancock of Paducah, Karen Leaver of Paducah, and Chris Leaver of Spring Hill, Kansas; three granchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth Ogg, Leaver; one granddaughter; one brother; and one sister. His parents were Willis Hammond and Elsie Clark Leaver.
Services will be Friday, September 7, 2018, at LIndsey Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mike Monaham officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Lindse Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Schneidman Road Baptist Church of Paducah.
