Ivy Leasor

Ivy Elizabeth "Libby" Denton Leasor, 73, of West Paducah, passed away on June 18, 2012.

She was a retired rural letter carrier of 22 years with the United States Postal Service.

Libby is survived by three sons, James Robert Denton (wife, Nancy) of Hardinsburg, Ky., Jesse Ray Denton of Paducah, Ky., and Joseph Raymond Denton (wife, Jennifer) of West Paducah, Ky.; two daughters, Janice Marie Foglesong (husband, Miles) of Paducah, Ky., and Judy Kay Leasor of West Paducah, Ky.; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Marie Timmons (husband, Thomas), Shawna Marie Foglesong, Jessica Lorraine Denton, Harold Robert Denton, James Teller Denton and Jesse Clay Denton; three great-grandchildren, Zackery Thomas Timmons, Lakyn Nicole LaShae Timmons and Eryka Skye Timmons; one brother, Leon Champion (wife, Donna) of Murray, Ky.; three sisters, Charlene Savage of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lemma Joyce Cornwell of Chicago, Ill., and Aileen Ruffalo (husband, Eddie) of West Paducah; several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Champion and Lorene Alsobrook Champion, and her first Husband, Robert Ire Denton.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Lindsey Funeral Home with Pastor Don LaBrot officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Cemetery in Paducah. Friends may call after 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lindsey Funeral Home.
