Jacquelyn "Jackie" Clay Frensley, 63, of Paducah, Ky., passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011, at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
She was born in Paducah, Ky. Jacquelyn was the owner of J.C.F. Medical Transcription. She was a member of the Twelve Oaks Baptist Church and the Lourdes Hospital Auxiliary. She was past president of the Clark Elementary School P.T.A. and the McNabb Elementary School P.T.A. where she organized the Spring Carnivals. She started the P.T.A. Eyeglass Donation Program for Kids. Jacquelyn was an accomplished musician and enjoyed playing the clarinet. She was also a League Bowler at Cardinal Lanes of Paducah and served as League Secretary on multiple leagues. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends, especially her "Boo." Her friends called her "Jack." She fought with the spirit of a champion to stay and watch over all those she loved and continued to smile even unto her last breath; her final gift to a grieving family.
Jacquelyn is survived by two sons, James Clay Frensley of Paducah, Ky., and Joseph Lee Frensley and wife Allis of Paducah, Ky.; sister, Mary Clay Dillworth of Paducah, Ky.; three grandchildren, Whitney, Alec, and Evan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Clay and Martha Sue Kindred Clay; and one sister, Carolyn "DeDe" Clay Keller.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Louis Brinker officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, May, 3, 2011, at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
