James E. Hankins, age 73, of Paducah died at his home Monday, April 27, at 12 p.m.
Jim was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church, avid hunter and fisherman, retired from U.S. Army National Guard, Pawnbroker for 25 years, retired car salesman from Caskey Pontiac.
Graveside service swill be held Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with Dr. Willis Henson officiating.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Brenda Wilson Hankins; one son, Keith Hankins and wife Meda of Paducah; one sister, Jean Burgess of Boaz, Ky.; three brothers, C.W. Hankins of Missouri, Jack Hankins of Metropolis, Ill., and Paul Hankins of La Center, Ky.; one grandson, Jared Hankins; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Clyde "Jack" Hankins and Alta Warford Hankins; and two brothers, Harold and Sid Hankins.
