James Thompson

March 17, 1927 — February 25, 2011

James Randle Thompson, 86, of Paducah died Friday at Lourdes hospital.

Mr. Thompson was a general foreman for Illinois Central Railroad, a Mason and a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Debbie Hunting of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Susan Fleming of Ozona, Fla.; one son, Randy Thompson of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Charlotte Feezor of Paducah; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by one nephew. His parents were Jim and Rosa Thompson.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lindsey Funeral Home. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
