ST. ELMO, Ill. - Services for Jean L. Herndon-Lowe, 83, of St. Elmo, formerly of Paducah, will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kessel Funeral Home with Ray Stafford and Alice True officiating. Graveside services will be at noon Thursday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah with Ray Stafford officiating.
Mrs. Herndon-Lowe died at 1:28 p.m. Sunday at her home.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Elmo and former owner of Herndon Grocery Store in Paducah.
Surviving are her husband, Richard M. Lowe; one daughter, Sheila Himes of St. Elmo; three brothers, Robert Stubblefield of Paducah, Harold Stubblefield of Reston, Va., and Jerry Stubblefield of Petaluma, Calif.; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Herndon; her father and stepmother, Bobbie and Lorene Fleming Stubblefield; her mother and stepfather, Katherine Kinsey and Harry Cruse; and one stepbrother.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Kessel Funeral Home.
