CALVERT CITY, Ky. - Jerry Dale Bennett, 53, of Calvert City died at 10:45 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2009, at Arbor Place of Clinton.
Mr. Bennett was a former loader operator for Vulcan Materials in Grand Rivers. He was also a guitar musician for the band White Horse for over 20 years. He was the former owner of Blue Sky Audio Recording Studio in Calvert City. He was a member of Pathway Baptist Church in Calvert City.
Surviving are his wife, Marla Bennett; three brothers, Larry Bennett of Benton, Bob Bennett of Wildwood, Fla., and Billy Bennett of Supply, N.C.; a cousin and guardian, Phillip Walston of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Velma Johnson Bennett; a sister, Barbie Shekell; and a brother, Donnie Bennett.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 27, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Michael Donald and Lynn Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2009, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
