Joe Poyner

Joe Terry Poyner, 59, of Paducah died Tuesday at his home.
Mr. Poyner was a retired dispatcher with the Paducah Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Rose Wooten Poyner; two brothers, Mike Poyner of Paducah and Mark Poyner of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister, Michelle Gower of Jackson, Tenn.; and several nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Dorothy Poyner; and one sister.
Services will be at noon Monday at Lindsey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jon Cockrel officiating. Burial will be in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Sunday and after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Lourdes Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
