John Edward Peck, 88, of Paducah died at 2:23 p.m. Friday at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was a retired Paducah firefighter; a member of the Retired Firefighters, Police Officers and Widows Association and Masonic Lodge 127; and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are one son, Jimmy Don Peck of Gilbertsville; one daughter, Peggie Peck Carter of Paducah; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lue Nell Humphrey Peck; seven sisters; and five brothers. His parents were John Henry Peck and Nannie McKendree Peck.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Elmer Crouch officiating. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Masonic rites at 7.
