Joseph "Fred" Cook, 73, of Paducah passed away at 1:54 a.m. Sunday, November 23, 2008, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Services will be at noon Tuesday, November 25, 2008, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Glover officiating.
Mr. Cook was an auto mechanic.
He is survived by his best friend, ex-wife and caregiver, Johnie Cook of Paducah; five daughters, Freda and husband Allen Davenport of Knoxville, Tenn., Karen Cook of Clarksville, Tenn., Kathy and husband Jerry Tarry and Teri Cook, both of Paducah and Sandy and husband Paul Parrish of Mayfield; three sons, Scott Cook, Joe Freddie and wife Rhonda Cook and Steve Cook, all of Paducah; one brother, Edwin Patrick Cook of Indianapolis; two sisters, Priscilla Leab of Paducah and Margaret Cook of Oneida, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Hicks, Ashley Hicks, Justin Collins, Jeffrey Cook, Alex Cook, Steven Cook Jr., Christian Parrish and Shane Leab.
Honorary pallbearers will be Amber Collins, Dakota Parrish, Briah Cook, Brandon Cook, Ashlyn Cook and David Shepherd
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. this evening, November 24, 2008 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah.
