Joseph Mack Lee

Joseph Mack Lee at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 26 days, went to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 1, 2023, 3:00 p.m., at Baptist Health Hospital of Paducah.

Joseph was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. His educational pursuits included attending Indiana Vocational Technical College, West Kentucky Technical College where he received certification in HVAC, and he studied engineering. He was a self-employed carpenter who did home remodeling.

Joseph was an artist who loved writing poetry, playing chess and was the Master of both buying and selling items.  He was liked to travel, and he showered his family, especially his grandchildren, and people in general with love. Joseph always had an encouraging word for others and was a kind-hearted individual.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Mose Lee and Elma McCovens Lee.  

Joseph leaves to cherish his many memories his Loving Wife of 57 Years, Eleanor Lee of Paducah, KY; Five Sons, Anthony Lee and Michael Lee, both of Paducah, KY, Robert (Sheila) Lee of Long Beach, CA, Joe Lee of Louisville, KY, Desmond (Candyce) Lee of Salt Lake City, UT; Two Daughters Tamika (Fareed Khaaliq) Lee of Phoenix, AZ; and Stacy Hardin of Indianapolis, IN; Grandchildren, Anthony (Jacqueline) Lee, Jr., Lori, Terrance, Sofia, Natasha, Robert Lee Jr., Ryan, Renee, Brandon (Kenzie), Alexandria, Cherelle, Ming, Desmond Lee Jr., Mikkia, Jamica, Brianna, Michael, Jr., Jamari, Tamia,  Saniyah, Trevante, (Destiny), Devin (Denaja), Deja, Larry; Several Great-Grandchildren; One Nephew, Darrin Nicholson of Connorsville, IN; One Brother, Fred McCovens of Paducah, KY, and One Niece, Janelle Nicholson of Connorsville, IN.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 9, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Pastor Martha Howell officiating.  Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemtery.

Family and friends may call Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
