Funeral services for Kristopher D. "Green" Browning, 25, of Paducah will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Jim Glover and the Rev. Jeff Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. Browning died at 8:51 a.m. Monday, November 16, 2009, at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Browning had worked at various local restaurants as a cook. He was a member of Salt & Light Community Church of Reidland, a member of Omega 21 Graphic Studios and Bridge Street Eagles Club No. 3135.
He is survived by his parents, Steve and Rita Browning of Paducah; one brother, Alan J. Browning of Paducah; an adopted brother, Ryan Antione Ross of Paducah; his grandparents, Delbert and Jolena Gipson of Paducah; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and his loving pets, Princess and Spade.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Travis Browning and Mary Talcalene Browning; one aunt, Debra Jo Gipson; one uncle, Billy "Red" Browning; and several cousins.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the McCracken County Humane Society, 4000 Coleman Road, Paducah, KY 42001.
