Lana Donaldson

Lana Donaldson, age 62, of Paducah, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at River Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Lana was born on May 12, 1960 in Paducah to James Donaldson, Sr. and Anna Short Kendall.  Though Lana was born with cerebral palsy, she did not let that hinder her determination and faith.  She was very involved in the Telethon and Easter Seals.  Children and animals always put a smile on her face and gave her great joy. Lana never met a stranger and was known for always being honest and for never being afraid to tell you what she was thinking.  She was a member of Southland Baptist Temple.  

Lana is survived by her niece, April Darnell of Paducah, nephew, Shawn Erdman of Tennessee, along with several aunts, uncles, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Donaldson, Sr., Anna Short Kendall and her brother, James Donaldson, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Clay Hall officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
