KEVIL, Ky. - Laverne Ward Roberts, 80, of Kevil died Tuesday at Lifecare Center of La Center.
Mrs. Roberts was retired from McCracken County schools, where she worked in a cafeteria at Reidland. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by three sons, Michael Lee Roberts of Kevil, Larry Wayne Roberts of Lone Oak, and John Allen Roberts of Sharpe; one brother, Roy Lee Ward of Tell City, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry H. Roberts; and one sister. Her parents were Roy and Thelma Murphy Ward.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Justin Wainscott officiating.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
