Lois Bowling

Lois Gene Leavitt Bowling, 67, of Paducah, Ky., passed away at 5:05 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010, at her residence.

She was the supervisor of the mail center for Cracker Barrel Restaurant Corporation. Lois was a member of the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church, where she was the Music Director for over 40 years.

Lois is survived by her husband, Gary Bowling of Paducah, Ky.; daughter, Donna (Edward) Davidson of Paducah, Ky.; sons, Michael E. Leavitt of Orlando, Fla., and Joey (Sharon) Robinson of Bentonville, Ark.; sister, Joyce Dortch of Paducah, Ky.; grandchildren, Chad Wagoner, Ashley McIntosh, Levi Davidson, Blake Robinson, Savannah Robinson; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald R. Leavitt. Her parents were Owen Hawkins and Mildred Collie Hawkins.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2010, at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Joel Harper officiating. Entombment will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
