Lois Catherine Levin, 90, of Paducah passed away at 12:15 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Levin was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, a former plant nurse for BF Goodrich and a nurse for Marshall County Hospital, Marshall County School system and a retired nurse from Calvert City Convalescent Center. She was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, serving as a 2nd Lt. in the Army Nurse Corps.
Mrs. Levin is survived by her husband, Edgar O. Levin; two daughters, Karen Oldham and husband Wayne of Princeton, Ky., and Gina Fraser and husband David of Paducah; three sons, Edward Levin and wife Martha of Westville, Ill., Michael Levin of Maderia Beach, Fla., and Robert Levin of Gilbertsville, Ky.; one sister, Margaret "Peggy" Powell of Galesburg, Ill.; one brother, William Louis Mueller of Chicago, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by one sister. Her parents were Louis Joseph Mueller and Nonie Wallensack Mueller.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with the Rev. J. Patrick Reynolds officiating. Entombment will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
The Levin family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today, August 16, 2010, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Prayers will be said at 8:00 p.m.
